On our way to our weekend home in the mountains. Each time we go up in elevation, you see this on the northbound side of the highway. The colors are beautiful when it's wet from rain.

I am in NJ as well and have that same battle over the stereotypes. We are out in rural Hunterdon County and love it to death. Love the photo!

Thanks re the photo and thanks so much for stopping by! Those of us non-stereotypical Jerseyans have to stand together and show the world who NJ really is!!!

ha! I'm all like "stereotypes?? from the colors of the cutaway? maybe she means people are mad that the mountains were clearcut and there is a local battle in that area and the yokels are getting loud and people are making fun of them or something"

but then I read your comment, jo!

also, it's still snowing on your blog!
I'm pretending they are cherry blossoms.

Lori, you Crack me Up! And it's not snowing, those are white petals falling softly through the air from trees in bloom. :~)
